WoT - Common Problems and Solutions

- My account was hacked.
- The game did not work correctly after installing an update.
- I don’t want to download the update because of the large size of the game client.
- I could not play comfortably because of technical issues in the game.
- I don’t have enough space on my laptop/desktop PC to install the update.
- I could not download/install a game update.
- I am reinstalling the game because of mod problems (mods work incorrectly, the game won’t start, the minimap is not displayed, etc.)
- I am reinstalling the game for other reasons

The game did not work correctly after installing an update

• Please make sure your system is meeting the Minimum Requirements. You may also try to reinstall the game
• Should the issue persist, Submit a Ticket including:
  • WGcheck
  • Pingplotter

I don’t want to download the update because of the large size of the game client:

• The World of Tanks Standard Client takes 16 GB of Free Space on Hard Drive
• To free up Disk Space:
  • Please delete all the files inside the Updates folder. Default: C:\Games\World_of_Tanks\Updates
  • Please check this Microsoft Windows article
